Year 8 Survival Guide

Next year the Year 8s from schools like The Gardens School, Ranwick and Alfriston etc.

This year for me was a good year. Being a year 9 had its ups and downs. But overall it was a good year making new friends.

TIP#1

Your tutor class is a very important part of your time in School. Having a good strong friendship with people in your tutor and your tutor teacher. Tutor time is a great way to make new friends, also the your tutor teacher is one of the teachers who can help almost through anything.

TIP#2

Know your seniors:

Seniors have been in this school for a very long time and probably know the school by heart. Seniors are extrememly willing to help and always ready to show you around, and always having seniors watching over you is always a good thing, its like having a big brother.

TIP#3

Be yourself !
Always be yourself, Your were born an original, dont die a copy. No one likes fakes, so just be yourself. You will have more fun in year 9 if you do what you wanna do and not get pressured to what dont want to do its more important that you experience your year the way you want it to .

Dear Mr Tu's Singsam

This week we were instructed by our English Teacher to formally write a letter to one of our teachers, I chose you because of your talent and overall interest in basketball and also I admire  your knowledge in mathematics.

This year my understanding  in mathematics has expanded due to your teaching. Topics like Algebra, Probability and etc. Also your happy and friendly attitude has been a good model for other teachers to follow. Your love and interest in basketball is really interesting , its not common for mathematicians to have the knowledge that you posses for the game of basketball.

In conclusion you have been one of the most interesting teachers I've had your work ethic and commitment to your work has rubbed on me.

Sincerely, Kenny Zuniga
